Dr Lekshmi S, Associate Professor and presently the Head of the department of Physics and Research centre joined this college as a guest faculty in the year 2004. On February 14th 2006 appointed as a permanent faculty in the department. She did her schooling in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Chengannur and MMARS, Chengannur. Later did her graduation and post-graduation in physics from Christian College Chengannur. She was the First rank holder for Pg in 2003 and had cleared UGC -NET in the same year.
